On the occasion of the International Year of Glass declared by the United Nations for 2022, PDA Italy Chapter will organize an event dedicated to Glass for pharmaceutical use involving the International Commission on Glass (ICG) and some of the leading experts in the field. Glass has long been the material of choice for the primary packaging of injectables, and it is still subject to technological and quality evolution. On top of those, the issue of sustainability is certainly one of the aspects on which all the players in the supply chain are currently involved in discussions.
The event will take stock of the latest technological process innovations. Aimed at direct drug contact with glass, also dedicating space to regulatory innovations (TR43 PDA on glass defects).
The agenda will include a guided tour at the Stevanato Group plant in Piombino Dese dedicated to the production processes of primary glass packaging and the conference will be hosted by “Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro” (SSV) in Murano - Venezia. Finally, attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences and challenges with experts in glass for pharmaceutical use.
Because of Covid -related distancing rules, event will have a maximum defined number of participants, so stay tuned to be able to book your participation.

Notification of the cancellation must be made in writing to Centro Congressi Internazionale Srl.
The cancellation will be accepted by 30/05/2022 until this date the total amount will be refunded minus 50% for the cancellation of the registration.
No refunds can be made for cancellations received after 31/05/2022
