The Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) is a non-profit organization that was founded in the United States in 1946. It then expanded to several countries around the world, in parallel with the development of the pharmaceutical industry.

PDA currently has more than 10,000 members, mainly from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and its allied industries, but also an increasing number of members from academia and regulatory agencies.

The PDA Italy Chapter, the Italian group of the association founded in 2000, aims to apply the Association's aims and mission to the Italian pharmaceutical market, with all its special qualities, and without losing sight of the international standard.

In recent years, we have succeeded by organising dozens of technical and scientific meetings in Italy related to the production of sterile drugs.
The formula was simple but highly effective: to locally import, in a reduced format and in Italian if possible, the events organised by the PDA at the European or world level.
