Message from the President of the PDA Italy Chapter, Dr. Mauro Giusti

I would like to thank those who voted for me to be on the PDA Italy Chapter board, and also all those who took the time to vote for the candidates.
Never more so than now, given the recent pandemic events, do we realise how important it is to offer patients medicine that has the necessary quality and quantity, and to be able to develop the knowledge to enable progress in the treatment of diseases.
Becoming President is certainly a great honour, but also a great responsibility.
I pledge to commit myself, together with the new Executive Committee, to help advance our organisation, in the PDA spirit of developing information (that is scientifically valid and of practical use) as well as resources (such as courses, books, and articles) in order to advance Science and Regulation through the expertise of our more than 9,500 members in many parts of the world.
